Fettuccine Alfredo


  • 16 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1 1/2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • pepper
  • parsley (to garnish) (optional)
  1. Cook fettucine as package directs; drain.
  2. Heat butter and cream over low heat until butter is melted.
  3. Stir in cheese, salt and pepper.
  4. Pour sauce over hot fettucini, stirring making sure the noodles are well coated.
  5. Garnish with parsley if desired.
